Even though most people believe in the opposite, the truth is that no or low fat diets are not as healthy as you think. Cardiologists have stated that in order to maintain good cardiovascular health you need to consume healthy fats.
They have also disproved the opinion that cholesterol is the number one cause of clogged arteries and heart attacks, and they warn about the negative effects of statin drugs which are used to reduce cholesterol levels. Our brain and nervous system can’t function properly without cholesterol and similar fats. This is probably why statin users are the ones with higher rates of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Cholesterol is also needed for the conversion of UVB rays into vitamin D3. The lack of cholesterol means lower vitamin D3 levels.
Recent studies have claimed that you can fight aggressive cancers by following a high fat diet. However, you will never hear this from the cancer industry whose main goal is profit.
High fat ketogenic diet
Dr. Fred Hatfield who is a former world power lifting champion completed graduate studies in kinesiology. He was given only three months to live after being diagnosed with an aggressive metastatic skeletal cancer. Three different doctors confirmed the same diagnosis, but Dr. Hatfield wanted to do a little research on his own. He came across the ketogenic diet which he considered a promising alternative.
A study conducted by Dr. Dominic D’Agostino, a metabolic researcher at University of South Florida, discovered that mice with cancer who were put on a high fat non-carbohydrate glucose diet were able to recover and reverse cancer more efficiently than the mice on chemotherapy. Even though this study does not say much, Dr. Hatfield wanted to try it.
He started eating good meats and beneficial fats and he removed all sugars, carbohydrates and trans-fatty acid hydrogenated oils. These products are not that different from plastic because they are extremely hard to metabolize.
Foods that are sources of good fats are hemp oil, cold pressed olive oil, coconut oil, butter and eggs. Just a few months of following this diet has helped Dr. Hatfield clear his cancer.
Dr. D’Agostino has recommended the ketogenic diet to many cancer patients which actually succeeded after trying it.
The ketogenic anti-cancer diet meal plan
1. Healthy fats
- coconut oil
- olive oil
- raw seeds and nuts
2. Low carbohydrate vegetables
- collard greens
- Brussels sprouts
3. Protein foods
- fish and seafood
- fermented dairy
- grass-fed beef
- grass-fed raw organic dairy
- organic pastured poultry
Even though it is already proven that cancer cells survive by eating simple sugars, oncologists forget to tell their patients about this fact. Alternative cancer treatments include no sugar and no simple carb diets, still, many cancer patients undergoing IV chemotherapy are given pastries and ice cream instead.
